This two-week long workshop is designed to prepare for the December 12th ACT. The class focuses on skills review and time management in all subject areas tested on the ACT: English, Math, and Reading.
We will discuss recent changes to the ACT format, the “enhanced ACT.” All materials are provided, including extra practice items for students to use at home.
Evening sessions are designed to accommodate busy after-school schedules. If your child needs to come directly after practice, we will all understand!

I will NOT offer a full 2 week class before the February test, but may do a one day “tips and tricks” session if there is interest. I WILL offer a class before the April ACT and will post the dates and times for my June and July sessions by the end of April. The approximate dates are June 7-10 and July 6-9, and typically I offer a morning and an afternoon session. For the past several years, one session has been available in Ruston.
Private Tutoring
During the school year, I have limited availability for private tutoring and college application help.
I have limited availability for private students. My private lesson rate is $75/ hour for weekdays after school, and $85/hour for evenings and weekends.

Additional Notes
Absence policy: If your child needs to miss a class for any reason, I am happy to send them the material we covered and meet with them before the next class. I am not able to allow students to join classes by Zoom currently, although I can still do Zoom for private clients.
